Who writes this
Damson
Everything on this site is written by the people who build the app.
Why we made it
Damson exists because the loop that tells you what suits you is broken in PCOS: the meal happens, the afternoon happens, and nothing joins the two up. We wanted an app that asked how a meal sat and then remembered the answer, rather than one that scored you.
What we are, and what we are not
We are the small team behind Damson, made by GPT Genius Lab, LLC. Nobody writing here is a doctor, a dietitian, or a researcher, and nothing on this site is medical advice. What we can do is read the literature carefully, cite it properly, and be plain about where the evidence runs out. Where a page has been read by a registered dietitian, it says so and names them; where it has not, it does not pretend.
How we work
Every claim on this site names its source, every post carries the date it was last reviewed, and corrections are made in the open. The rules we hold ourselves to are written down in the editorial policy, so you can hold us to them too.
